I was born and raised on Staten Island, the forgotten borough of New York City. I spent part of my working life in retail management, and the rest of it teaching high school – and surprisingly still have my sanity. I married a military woman and moved to San Antonio a few years ago, leaving behind my teaching career and everything I’d ever known. Having always been the creative type, I took up a new career as an author.
We now make our home in Idaho, and we’re still learning how to enjoy small town life.
Currently I have some short stories and a three-story collection up for Kindle, Nook and Smashwords.
I like to delve into short stories, because they allow my writing to go anywhere and explore different genres. As for novels, I plan on sticking within the realm of fantasy.
My “Tolkienesque” fantasy world of Tyrennia will probably generate quite a few novels. After, all, there’s a whole world to explore.
I have completed the draft of the first novel “An Easterly Sojourn,” and am now in the editing stage. However, that hasn’t stopped me from pressing on. The second book in the Tales of Tyrennia Series called “The Frozen War” has already begun.
